CoopCash ("the App") is a poultry farm management application developed and operated by PalconAI Technologies Private Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use CoopCash.

By using CoopCash, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Phone Number — Used for account creation and OTP-based authentication
• Farm Data — Location names, shed details, batch information, bird counts, expenses, sales, and mortality records you enter
• Device Information — Basic device identifiers stored locally for session management
• Usage Data — App usage patterns to improve the application

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

• Authenticating your identity via OTP login
• Storing and displaying your farm management data
• Generating batch performance reports (PDF)
• Sending feed stock alerts and farm notifications
• Powering Coopi, our AI farm assistant, to answer questions about your farm data
• Processing bill images via AI for automatic expense extraction
• Improving app features and fixing bugs

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your farm data is securely stored using Supabase, a cloud database platform with industry-standard encryption. OTP verification is handled via 2Factor.in, a trusted SMS gateway service in India.

• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
• Data is stored on secure cloud servers located in Mumbai, India
• Access is restricted to authenticated users only
• We do not store OTP codes — they expire after verification

Third-Party Services

CoopCash uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure
• 2Factor.in — OTP SMS delivery service
• Google Gemini API — Used for bill scanning and AI-powered expense extraction. Bill images are processed by Google's AI services. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Anthropic Claude API — Used for Coopi, our AI farm assistant. Your farm data queries are processed by Anthropic's AI services to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies.
• Google Analytics — Used on our website (palconai.com) to understand visitor behaviour using anonymous cookies. Not used within the mobile app.

These services have their own privacy policies and are responsible for their own data practices.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may request deletion directly from within the app via Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

Children's Privacy

CoopCash is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website (palconai.com) to understand visitor behaviour. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data.

We do not use cookies in our mobile app.

You can opt-out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
